Laura Flecha, author of Ready Room, a collection of raw, emotional poetry, holds a Masters in Writing from Johns Hopkins University. Laura works as an editor for scholarly journals. She adores spending time with family on their farmette in Poolesville, Maryland.

Laura's main passion in writing is poetry with a focus on women's issues as well as subjects that can be difficult to talk about. As she was brought up Tibetan Buddhist, her writing reflects both Eastern and Western thought. Laura hopes her writing comforts others and offers insight into human nature.
